Always Remember – Michael Edwards

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Heb 13:5 ESV

When we find ourselves caught up in the troubles and cares of this life, in a storm of worldly circumstances, we must remember that Jesus is right by our side. He is always in the storm with us, if we remember it or not. He is ready to help and will never leave or forsake us.

What a powerful and comforting truth, the Creator of all things is right next to us at all times. He has overcome the world and is ready and able to help us through every situation, even if it is of our own making. There is no one better we could hope to have by our side, loving and powerful. When we remember that He is present in our circumstances, it changes everything.

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. 

He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. Psalm 121 ESV

Always remember, if your faith is in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, God never leaves you alone. He is ready and able to guide you through this life in His peace and power. Don’t forget to seek His help and advice each and every day, in all things small or big. He wants a closer relationship and is ready to bear your burdens if you just ask.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7 ESV
