My Helpers – Ken Ebright

I’ve had so many people help me throughout my lifetime. Again and again, God placed the right people in my life at the right place at the right time. There was my friend Brian who was a salesman at a video production company. At the time I was looking for a better job in the television industry. Through my contact with Brian, I worked as a freelancer in the industry as well as doing other jobs simultaneously. Through that job, I met Leo who would help me get a job running camera at a home shopping channel. Later I left the industry and met my singles pastor Brett, who helped me get the current position I’ve had for over the past 15 years.

I’ve also done writing, and there was a woman named Shann who helped me with my testimony that got published in a book. There was also a man from my church who called me on a night I was really upset about my dad leaving town after a divorce. My sister called me after I heard about the death of the first friend I ever had. Whether it is a job need or an emotional need, the Lord has had His hand on my life.

I believe the Lord will use his riches to provide for my every need. He knows what I need, and when I need it. The Lord already knew my need for Brian, Leo, and Shann, even though I never asked Him, but he provided these people anyway. The Lord knows my needs more than I know or could even fathom. That shows me we can trust him with our lives, even during times of difficulty. In the end, he will give you everything you need.
