| | | | | God’s Miracle May Be Knocking On Your DoorA certain person needed help, praying daily for divine intervention; her life often seemed overwhelming. Devoted to God, believing God was strengthening her faith, she kept trusting, hoping His power and peace would show up in a significant fashion to change everything. During her toil, she regularly heard from her best friend, who offered to help. This friend had listened to her pain, sorrow and despair as she spoke about her struggles that seemed to be more than she could bear alone. He knew he could be of great help and offered to do so, but she would always find a reason to fight on alone. Maybe, you are struggling right now and have been praying for God to intervene in your life in a big way. Could you be so set on how you want Him to respond that you miss the lifeboats He has sent? Could the bigger miracle you seek require a small step of humility and faith first? We are the body of Christ, His hands and feet. He uses the body to do His miracles much more often than He uses miracles alone. Sadly, we can let pride blind us to God’s way. We want God to work through us, not humble ourselves and accept God’s help through another. but with the humble is wisdom. Pro 11:2b ESV Perhaps, God is trying to answer your prayers through someone in your life right now. Maybe, they are the doorway to that great breakthrough you seek. Could God be waiting to see if you have enough faith to humbly accept the help He is offering? Pay attention, open yourself up and let others love and help you when they offer. Let them be God's miracle for their benefit and yours. Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. Ecc 4:9-10,12 NIVContact Michael |
