Where ARE You God?: How you can be certain God is listening Linda Weaver
God has never failed me. Even when I do the best I can to serve Him and things get worse, He still has a good plan for my life. I have to be constant in my prayers, and learn how to wait on His timing - that is the hardest part - when the fire gets hot and I want things done my way - now!

Seek His Kingdom Daily- By C D Swanson
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33 KJV) While enjoying a baseball game, my husband and I commented about players on the "disabled list” sitting on the "bench" watching from the sidelines. They were at the game, but not participants of it. Then it dawned on me that this could pertain to some Christian individuals. They may have accepted Christ in their lives, and are familiar with the Bible...but they're not in the "game" so to speak and therefore on the bench. What is the Kingdom of God? It's not this church or that church, but it is "within" each one of us. We can't see it "outwardly" for it is within each believer. Christ tells us what to do; the scriptures are clear about Kingdom. We must be born again to see it. We must humble ourselves as a child to see it...and must exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees. During our walk with God we must seek His will and His Kingdom each day. Then His righteousness, and all the rest, will be added unto us. Hebrews 1:8( KJV) states, "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever; a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy Kingdom." Righteousness is the Sceptre centered in the character of Jesus Christ. When we surrender to His will and His righteousness—His character of patience and love will be leading and guiding us—this is the center piece of His Kingdom. To become Christ-like, we need to spit out the seeds, and take hold of the fruit which we also shall yield accordingly. So, instead of sitting on the bench…Stand for Christ and what is right. Seek His Kingdom daily by being willing to take up the scripture and apply it to LIFE. Going forward in the name of Jesus Christ, we're guaranteed a reserved seat at the wedding of the Lamb. Amen.
