Stories - by Karen Pourbabaee “We are all pencils in the hand of God.” Mother Teresa We each have an original story to tell, lovingly and creatively written by God’s own hand. Our lives are played out in stories, lively tales that run the gamut of joy and sorrow, motivation and indifference, smiles and tears, hopes and fears. Our stage has an all-star cast of family, friends, and strangers, weaving in and out of our lives by His grand design. The elements of our lives are presented to us by our Heavenly Father. The good, the bad, the mundane…nothing happens by chance. He engineers circumstances and people to afford us an opportunity to live out our beliefs and to strengthen our faith. It has been said God loves us too much to leave us unchanged. He intends to create something beautiful with our lives…a literary masterpiece! Each day’s narrative builds your unique story. At day’s end how will your story read? How have you responded in thought, word, and deed to God’s divine design? Another year just closed, another chapter has been written. Is the progress of your novel pleasing to the Father? Examine the people and circumstances God brought to you last year. What is the purpose of each element? What is God speaking to you? Listen well. What is He attempting to teach you? Be His disciple. What is He trying to do in your life? Follow His lead. He is the Great Editor. You can change course. If indeed we are pencils in the hand of God, what will you write with your life this year?
