His Right Hand - by C D Swanson

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
(Isaiah 41:13 KJV)

The world can be a precarious place in which to live, but I’ve no doubt that the hand of God will hold us up. Various scenarios can present challenges to say the very least, but our sovereign God will be with us every step of the way.

We might be sailing a “boat” on placid waters as the sun shines …and within seconds the sky becomes dark and ominous. The waters are no longer placid, but tumultuous. It’s at that precise moment of the threatening clouds, that we need to trust, and know that God will take the helm, and guide us to safety. He will help us, at all times; of this we should be certain.

Insidious doubts may try to creep into our heads, but the word of God stands true, as does God. As we go through our daily routines, it’s a comforting perspective to realize, and embrace the knowledge, that God will hold us up, guide us, and love us while doing so.

He will supply and sustain us—His children—for all things big and small. He will give us what we need, when we need it, and will produce amazing outcomes for each of us in the process. When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. (Isaiah 31:17 KJV).

Knowing He’s always near, will encourage us to go forward in confidence, never forget that…or His promises.
