GOD OF COMFORT Deepika Emmanuel Sagar It’s heartbreaking when a husband cheats on his wife, or a child is hurt by their parent or siblings. These things should not happen in families, but as we all know, they happen in this world daily. The one who gets hurt the most is the one dedicated to the relationship. Thankfully, God promises comfort for such souls (Ps 119:48-52).
Jesus can relate to our feelings as he has been through all that we feel. Judas Iscariot was one of the disciples that Jesus chose to be with him, yet he betrayed Him. God knows first-hand what betrayal feels like.
Our God is a God of comfort (2 Cor 1:3-5). He will strengthen us, and if we are willing, use us to comfort others who are facing similar trials. Satan always wants us to sit and feel sorry for our problems, and he will keep filling us with negative thoughts until we make a conscious decision to step up and out of it. Instead of feeling sorry for what has happened, we can choose to turn our problems over to God and be a blessing to a soul who is waiting to be saved. Consider being a tool in the hands of God when troubles come. You never know how He will use you to bless others in the midst of your own trials.
It’s amazing to see how God can use us to help others financially even when we are going through a financial crisis. Or, He might use the peace of Christ in us to help someone overcome their emotional stress. Our God is a powerful God and has called us to be a part of His ministry. Let’s rise and contribute. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh 8:10).

Perfect to equip the believer for defending their faith. Ideal to send to a skeptical friend or family member. Great for teens and young adults who have never reviewed the objective evidence for God's existence and identity.
An in-depth study of the factual evidence leads a person to realize how little faith they need to believe, while they gain great faith at the same time.
Running close to 5 stars with over 180 online reviews.
Recent Amazon Review:
"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17 |
