There Was Light PamFord Davis “Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light (Genesis 1:3 NKJV).”
The Christmas season has officially begun…
My memories go back to early Christmases. Oh, how I enjoyed seeing Christmas lights. I’m not sure who most liked our seasonal family car rides. The Ford kids? It may have been our Dad.
My father worked 2nd shift as a General Electric security guard. Driving back home late at night allowed him the first sightings of Christmas lights. I think he may have made mental notes of what streets and homes to include in the anticipated excursion.
If my memory serves me, we usually went to East Syracuse and Eastwood. I was fascinated by the elaborate Christmas light displays. Admittedly, I still am.
‘Let there be light; and there was light (Genesis 1:3b NKJV).”
Worship the King; walk in the light of Christ Jesus.
“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:5-7 NKJV).”

Perfect to equip the believer for defending their faith. Ideal to send to a skeptical friend or family member. Great for teens and young adults who have never reviewed the objective evidence for God's existence and identity.
An in-depth study of the factual evidence leads a person to realize how little faith they need to believe, while they gain great faith at the same time.
Running close to 5 stars with over 180 online reviews.
Recent Amazon Review:
"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17 |
