To Post or Not to Post Stephanie M. White
Seldom set foot in your neighbor's house— too much of you, and they will hate you. Proverbs 25:17 NIV
Today's world brings us all together - or does it? The internet has made it easy to reach out and touch someone, but in what way are we affecting the people we are reaching? In this world of numerous social media outlets, we are stepping foot in our neighbor's house daily - sometimes several times a day. We are no longer simply sharing cute photos and encouraging words occasionally with friends and family, but now we are airing all of our opinions as well - and we are doing so with whoever cares to listen. We are getting too much of each other and hate is ensuing.
Many share their political views instead of refraining and voting in private. Fake news stories are created to spark controversy, and we no longer feel a need to check our sources. We used to have disagreements with others behind closed doors, but now they are boldly posted for all to see. Opinions are given on a variety of subjects even though many times they should be kept to ourselves. My opinion is just that - mine - and although it is permissible for me to share my opinion, it is often not profitable. To post or not to post? That, I believe, is today's question. A question that can be answered in the book of Ephesians (4:29). Is what you are posting helpful for building others up according to their needs? God has given us His plan for peace and harmony, and it is found in considering others before self and avoiding officiousness. Stephanie is a wife, mom, and author from Ohio. Contact |

Perfect to equip the believer for defending their faith. Ideal to send to a skeptical friend or family member. Great for teens and young adults who have never reviewed the objective evidence for God's existence and identity.
An in-depth study of the factual evidence leads a person to realize how little faith they need to believe, while they gain great faith at the same time.
Running close to 5 stars with over 180 online reviews.
Recent Amazon Review:
"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17 |
