Faith: Letting God Have His Way Robert Schaetzle “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.” Romans 9:16 NKJV
Our Lord reminds me often that everything I do comes through the presence of His leading. I’m not to think too highly of myself, but to be mindful that my faith and grace have been dealt to me by God.
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 NKJV
As we humble ourselves in his presence, we become better acquainted with his leading, letting God lift us up when the time is right. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.1 Peter 5:6 NKJV
We all know that running the race before us can be tiring and stressful. But, once I recognized the strength and power of His leading presence, I let God have His way. This has brought me true fulfillment and His ability to reach the goals He sets. Learning to rest in Him, I have discovered unlimited resources and superior results.
The Christian life is not about self, but rather learning and growing in a deeper relationship with Him. He will demonstrate His mercy and power in all who purposely lean on His leading presence, letting God have His Way.
