By faith, we have received the power of God that resides in us, making us capable of doing His work. The wisdom and strength provided by His knowledge removes our folly and helps us to stand wise for His purpose. God gives us his knowledge freely, from his heavenly treasures, when we ask him. But it is not meant to just keep it ourselves.
God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others. We need to pray for insight of the will of God and the way to use our blessings. We receive gifts so that we may give back, and we are strengthened to strengthen our neighbors. What good would it be if we keep the wisdom to ourselves while seeing others falling in the devil's pit? As ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), we are bestowed with a duty to spread His kingdom. God doesn't want us to be fruitless fig trees.
Life is more than just fulfilling earthly responsibilities, getting tired of them, taking a vacation, and then going back to our jobs. God's work is always progressing, even on the day when we are meant to rest. Should we not be a part of it? Like our earthly responsibilities, we have a spiritual responsibility too. Pray to know the will of God; receive the strength by faith to do His work. He will show you the way and the path to follow. You just need to say yes to His will and He will take care of the rest. As you work for His purpose, His doings will be marvelous in your eyes.
Lord, help me to look at life through your perspective so that I am able to fulfill your will. Amen.
