Communicate Kindness Toni M. BabcockThe Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians: “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and clamor and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you,” (Ephesians 4:29-32 KJV).This passage is in stark contrast to the mean-spirited communication many experience on social media. Why would any sincere follower of Jesus want to be like those “Who wet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words”? (Psalm 64:3 KJV). You’re in Christ when you receive Him, yet unique in every way. Don’t be defined by what your critics say in negative tweets or posts on Facebook. Let God take care of the critics who define you in false and hurtful ways. God can “make their own tongue fall upon themselves” (Psalm 64:8b). Spend your time lifting others up. "Hi Michael, I was given a copy by a friend about two years ago when I told them I didn’t believe but had an encounter with what I now know was the Holy Spirit prior to reading the book. After reading your book, and being that I’m a cop, the evidence was compelling so the choice became easy. Thank you for being a big part of saving my life and seeing the truth about Jesus. My life has drastically changed for the better!!! I’ve handed out many of your books already, and can hardly wait to give more away! Thank you sir!! And God bless!"
