Come Boldly to the Throne of Grace (Heb. 4: 16) – Harriett Ford I come to the throne as a citizen of the Kingdom of Light (Col. 1:3) and bow down to worship the Father of spirits the righteous Judge over all.
I come in the righteousness of Jesus, and not my own. My Advocate, Jesus, has declared me not guilty of the ordinances written against me. The prince of this world has no legal dominion over me (Col. 1: 3). This liar, accuser, thief, murderer and destroyer (Jn 10:10) is in violation of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. I remind him that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed and redeemed from the curse of the law of sin and death (I Peter 2: 24; Rom. 8:2).
As a joint heir with Christ, as He is, so am I in this world (I Jn 4: 17). Is Jesus sick? Depressed? Anxious? Suffering any genetic abnormalities? No. Then neither do I!
Father, You said You heal all of my diseases. You crown me with loving kindness and tender mercies. I am designed for Your good pleasure. You delight in the prosperity and well-being of Your children, not in their oppression and suffering.
You said I overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. Therefore, by the unending power of the blood, I speak the word with Your authority to cancel the assignment of the enemy against me and mine. He cannot continue to oppress, steal, or destroy my life.
All praise, honor, thanksgiving, and glory, belong to You. I rejoice in Your goodness and mercy forever and ever. Amen.
