Follow the Leader - Renee GingeryWe’re Going on a Bear Hunt is one of my youngest son’s favorite stories. You know, the one where the father leads his family on the scariest adventure ever to find a bear? At each roadblock the children let nothing deter them because they trust their father to lead the way. I am reminded of how our heavenly Father offers to walk us through the rough terrain of life. Even when fear seeks to destroy us, He is right beside us. He’s not surprised by what we are up against. Joshua was given encouragement to lead the Israelites into the promised land, where trials and difficulties were inevitable. I can only imagine the burden he carried. Yet, before the leadership baton was passed, God gave Joshua an order and a promise. “The Lord gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: ‘Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.’” Deuteronomy 31:23 (NIV) God commands Joshua to have courage and not fear. He then promises to come alongside him. The same promise has been given to us. But trust can be hard and doesn’t come naturally. In fact, our initial reaction is often to backpedal away from God and take control of the situation believing we can maneuver the path better than Him. It’s in the relinquishment of our control and the placement of our trust in Him that our path becomes straight once more. Father, help us trust you completely to lead the way. Teach us to be an example for those around us. Renee resides in the Midwest with her husband of nineteen years and four children. She enjoys teaching and quality time with her family. Contact |

Radical New Covenant Bible Studies for Radical Freedom in Christ
Jesus poured out His blood for the New Covenant of grace and truth, replacing the Old Covenant letter of the law of Moses. Believers are exclusively under the New Covenant, the last will and testament of Jesus that began after the cross. And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. Luke 22:20

Perfect to equip the believer for defending their faith. Ideal to send to a skeptical friend or family member. Great for teens and young adults who have never reviewed the objective evidence for God's existence and identity.
An in-depth study of the factual evidence leads a person to realize how little faith they need to believe, while they gain great faith at the same time.
Running close to 5 stars with over 180 online reviews.
Recent Amazon Review:
"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17 |
