Boldly – CD Swanson For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…Romans 1:16 (NKJV)
The above passage, written by Paul in Romans, is powerful. First of all, it represents His unyielding, and undeniable faith in Christ, and of course, Paul’s actions, solidify his words. So, not only does he express through words, but in action…which is an example of faith.
Never feel reticent, or ashamed of our connection, and bonds, to Christ. For He freely offers it to all, whomsoever will, and it is an inexplicable honor to represent Him and go forth boldly, choosing His doctrine in all we do.
The four Gospels represent Jesus, His ministry, His love for mankind and how He defeated death and took on our sins. The book of Romans gives us an in-depth look at His sacrificial death. It’s about His grace, hope and living life in His righteousness.
When we live for Him, meditate on His word, and ask for His guidance in all that we do…we’re asking Him to transform our hearts, minds, and spirit, to purify us further each and every day of our lives. This process becomes apparent, as we walk the path, that is to say…the narrow path, the path of righteousness.
We seek His face, and we look to Him for all things. We live our lives by faith and the whole Christian values therein, fully and completely. Our Father loves to honor those of us who have faith…because faith honors Him…and speaks of our love for Him. Have you honored Him today? If not, what are you waiting for?
“Father, thank You for Your love, heart, and Your grace, in Jesus name, Amen.”
