Through His Eyes Deborah Mayers
Someone Loved Me
No one could have ever convinced me that the hole in my soul would someday be healed as a result of being filled with the love of Christ. I just assumed my inner pain, shame, self-hatred, loss of dignity and self-respect would be a permanent part of my life—until the very end.

You Need to Make More Money Ken Ebright
“Believers who are poor should take pride that God has made them spiritually rich. Those who are rich should take pride that God has shown them that they are spiritually poor. The rich will die like a wild flower in the grass. The sun rises with burning heat and dries up the plants. The flower falls off, and its beauty is gone. In the same way the rich will die while they are still taking care of business.” James 1: 9-11 (NCV)
“You need to be making more money,” said Jim who was my financial planner. Those words have haunted me all of my adult life. I was in my late twenties just beginning my career in TV production.
In my mid to late thirties, the Lord took away my career job. With the loss of vocation which became an idol in my life, I had to turn my life back over to the Lord. In my late forties, I ran across the verse in James. It didn’t take away the sting I got from Jim’s words, but it made me feel a little better.
Today, I can say I am more spiritually strong. I read the Bible daily, and I live to serve Him.
I may never be able to retire; although, I am doing a lot better because the Lord has helped me cut my expenses.
I don’t need these earthly material possessions anyway. When I die, they will end up in the dumpster. I just need to have the faith that He will help me monetarily, and even if He doesn’t, I can look forward to a home in Heaven, where I don’t have to worry about living in a cardboard box under a bridge.
Ken is a native Minnesotan and loves to sing and can play a keyboard instrument. Contact |

Perfect to equip the believer for defending their faith. Ideal to send to a skeptical friend or family member. Great for teens and young adults who have never reviewed the objective evidence for God's existence and identity.
An in-depth study of the factual evidence leads a person to realize how little faith they need to believe, while they gain great faith at the same time.
Running close to 5 stars with over 180 online reviews.
Recent Amazon Review:
"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17 |
