I Am Righteous, Holy, Sanctified and Perfected - Michael Edwards As a believer, we should be declaring that we are Righteous, Holy, Sanctified and Perfected in Christ. If you have a hard time doing this, you are looking at yourself and not Jesus.
The Greek word used in the New Testament for holy is the same word used for sanctified. If it says you’re holy, it means you’re sanctified and vice versa too.
Hagiazó - Short Definition: I make holy, sanctify And by that will, we have been made holy/sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Heb 10:10 NIV
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified/made holy, but you were justified (made righteous) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor 6:11 NASB

Paul even calls the Corinthians who were caught up in sexual sin, sanctified/holy. Like us, I bet that is not what they saw when they looked in the mirror or at the flesh of their brothers and sisters in Christ.
To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their [Lord] and ours: 1 Cor 1:2 NASB
