GOD'S TELEPHONE NUMBER FATAI OLADAPO ADEBANJO
God’s Telephone number is based on a new theory from the author, Fatai Adebanjo. He postulates an innovative concept of how Christians can make “phone calls” to God through a formula revealed in scripture that is essentially a telephone number for God.
For better understanding, I am a Muslim converted to Christianity since 2006. I am

Humble Pie – Toni Babcock
“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us,” (Psalm 103:12 KJV).
A healthy slice of humble pie is good for the soul. If God serves you up a slice, eat it with a thankful heart, for “…God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble,” (James 4:6 KJV). One thing you should know, however, is that humble pie has a short shelf life. If you stash away the leftovers and nibble on it for days or serve up the stale and spoiled pie to someone else, the consequences can be toxic.
In the Christian life, sometimes we keep serving up stale pie until it gets toxic as well; not only to other people when we’ve been hurt, but surprisingly to ourselves, reminding ourselves of past mistakes and feeling depressed about it. Have you ever met a victorious Christian who keeps bringing up their sinful past and bemoaning their wretchedness?
Imagine God listening to our negative thoughts. There He sits ready to stand in our defense. Don’t you think he would find it terribly irritating if we kept bringing up the past when He had removed our transgressions as far as the east is from the west? Wouldn’t he be more than a little annoyed that we did not regard ourselves as valuable members of His team, and claim our victory in Christ? Once we have turned from our sin and are truly sorry, having made things right with God and with others where we can, it is time to move on and hold on to the victory that is ours in Christ.
Lord help us not to live defeated because of our past, but victorious because of the cross, and who we are in Christ.
