With You I’m Strong – CD Swanson

Ah Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. (Jeremiah 32:17 KJV)

Sometimes, even the most devout Christian will be plagued with self-doubt or worry. There may be circumstances that’ll crop up in which we become riddled with anxiety. It’s how we “handle” this scenario that makes all the difference.

We know we “can’t” do it alone; we need help from the Father. Our God is bigger than any of our problems. When we go to Him in supplication and prayer, He’ll respond. Prayers are answered, especially intercessory prayers. The smoke rises straight up to heaven.

Our God reigns, and prayer connects us with the power we need to walk the path before us. While praying, focus on His greatness, and problems will diminish substantially. In prayer, reflect on His sovereign magnitude and give praise to His perfect character of love, compassion, and mercy. Shout in joyful union to the One and Only God. He will always be here for His children.

Entire families in the Bible came together in prayer. In fact, prayer had a central and crucial part in the early church; “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42 KJV).

Prayer brings us into God’s presence so we can receive strength and direction for life’s challenges. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, trust Him… and be still and know He is God.
