Jesus Christ is the Son of God (John 3:16 KJV). Jesus is our God, our Creator, and our Savior. “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether there be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;” (Colossians 1:14-19 KJV). “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory,” (Colossians 3:4 KJV).
Jesus is the way to the Father. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,” (John 14:6 KJV). Jesus is the light. “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world,” (John 9:5 KJV). “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness,” (John 12:46 KJV). Jesus is living water (John 4:14 KJV). Jesus is the good shepherd. “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep,” (John 10:11 KJV). Jesus is the true vine (John 15: 1, 5 KJV). Jesus is our friend. “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you,” (John 15:14 KJV).
Jesus is the Word. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” (John 1:1 KJV). “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth,” (John 1:14 KJV).
Father God, we thank you for sending your only begotten Son as a Savior to all the world.
