Once She Thought - Lisa Marcelina
Once there was a girl who thought little of herself. She felt unloved and unwanted. She thought her life meant nothing and there was no purpose to her living — but once she discovered Jesus and his love for her, she felt like a new person.
Once she learned that Jesus loved her more than anything, she felt alive and accepted. This allowed her to discover and trust in His Word. She learned to listen to him speak to her, and his loving words made her feel happy and encouraged as she read “neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”. (Romans 8:39 NIV)
Yes, it’s true — once she accepted Jesus in her life, she had purpose and value. And once she had purpose and value, she had a life worth living — a life she could live for Jesus through His Spirit living within her.
Once she understood and accepted this, she had peace. She decided to spread the good news, that Jesus is the Lord and love of her life; that he loved her, and she loved Him. It was all that mattered. Now she is happy in Jesus — not just once, but once and forever — and happy for life!
