And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16 (KJV)
Knowing God’s love is overwhelming. It’s a love in which you’ll experience peace, comfort and joy. When we know God, we have endless opportunities that generate from His blessings, His promises, and His love.
God didn’t promise we wouldn’t have tough days or valleys of woe; but He did promise, He’d never leave us, nor forsake us. He promised to hold us up with His right hand of righteousness. He promised to guide us, offer His wisdom, and perfect peace, in good times and bad.
We’re His children, and inasmuch, we long to be loved, and we love to love; that’s how He created us. Most of us have experienced love; it’s tough not to given that life is comprised of love. But make no mistake about this— there is nothing like the love of God. He alone is the One that truly loves us unconditionally. He’s always there for us without mocking or saying, “I told you so.” No matter how many times we may mess up, He will always love us…No matter what.
God is love. I never get tired of expressing these words—Know God, know peace, No God, no peace!
