JESUS is Our Sure Hope – Michael Edwards

No amount of money, power or position can save us from a virus or for eternity. Only Jesus, is our sure hope.

But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast. Heb 3:6 BSB

For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. 1 Tim 4:10 NAS

who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, 2 Cor 1:10 NAS

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Rom 15:13 NAS

in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago, Titus 1:2 NAS

who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:21 NAS

and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Rom 5:5 NAS

rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, Rom 12:12 NAS

Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and steadfast. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, Heb 6:18-19 NAS

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Heb 11:1 NAS

Take your eyes off your circumstances and keep them focused on Him. Stop being double minded, believe and confess your faith out loud. You are a child of God and your Father will always be with you. 

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; Heb 10:23 NAS
