How Will Your Love Story End? Jennifer Lynn
Our love story began before the foundation of the world and will live on through eternity, and we are in control of how it ends. We each were fearfully and wonderfully made, knitted together in our mother's womb, made for good works, and created to be loved eternally by our Creator, our Father.
The Father’s love has always included free will. God gave us a choice: love Him or reject Him, be loved by Him or push Him away. God knew we would choose to reject Him. From the beginning, He knew we would choose our own desires and would ultimately die in our sin, unable to save ourselves. The punishment for sin had to be death, but because of His love for us, He came up with a plan; the only way to save us.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16, KJV).”
God sent His only Son to die in our place. The plan of salvation was authored and fulfilled by the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. No one else could have saved us but One who was sinless. In His love, Jesus lived as one of us without sin, died for each of us, rose to raise us, and is coming again to gather us.
The end of this love story is up to each of us, individually. We were all included in God’s love story, including you. Will you choose to accept His love today?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, Thank You for creating me, loving me, and dying for me. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my heart today. I accept Your love. Amen.
