Heirs by His Grace ~ CD Swanson
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:26 NASBOne of the fundamental aspects of Christianity is that when we’re born again, we become sons or daughters of God. A transformation takes place, as we become firmly planted in the roots of His Spirit; thereby gaining insight, and access, to His guidance, love, and direction, in all that we do or undertake. We are by the “grace of God” given the blessed gift of becoming “Heirs” to His throne, and Kingdom. Gaining the fortitude to do all things according to the Spirit means allowing His Spirit to take control. To allow His Spirit to guide us, lead us, inform us, direct us, touch us, and “heal us” in Jesus name.
When we cry out “Abba Father” (Romans 8:15), we are offering ourselves fully to the LORD and expressing our belief, while honing our faith in His Sovereign Omnipotence. We are establishing our “inherent” rights as children of God. We are expressing our LOVE for the Lord in the most intimate apparent fashion, in full capacity, that is through our heart, mind, Spirit, and soul.
A close relationship with our Father becomes critical in overcoming the challenging times when we’re subjected to “mocking and persecution” from individuals who are not followers. But take heart, Jesus offers great news when as His co-heirs we are targeted for our faith, “Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:12 NASB
“Father thank You for Your love, Your blood, Your faithfulness, and gifting us as heirs to Your Kingdom, I love You. Thank You in Jesus precious name, Amen.”
