I sat down on the sofa to rest my aching back and swollen feet, and my pregnant stomach stuck out like a table beneath my chest. My cat jumped up on top of my belly unexpectedly and jumped down like something was wrong. Oddly enough, that day, I gave birth to boy and girl twins weighing a total of thirteen and half pounds and forty-one inches long. Seeing their red wrinkled faces and who they resembled was worth it all.
I had faith for a healthy delivery because I had received prenatal care. Faith in God's Word is like nurturing a fetus in the womb. In the beginning, when conceived in my heart, my faith was weak . As I studied the Bible wholeheartedly, godly wisdom and knowledge increased, while intimacy blossomed between me, and the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. My faith in God's promises abounded joyfully, and it proved weightier than silver and gold {Psalms 119:72}. Faith didn't grow by neglect nor was it aborted because of unbelief.
Prenatal care for faith: Meditation {daily vitamin}...we do not live on bread alone... {Romans 10:1}. Protection...guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you...{2 Timothy 1:14}. Regular faith check-ups to monitor growth. When someone needs prayer, faith rises up with power to get the job done...faith is the substance hoped for... {Hebrews 11:1}. Rest...come to Me all who are weary…{Matthew 11:28}.
Father, as I'm raising my faith, I don't labor in vain or without Your help. The expected outcome will bless further generations and shine like Your face.
His Word blesses my life; let my words bless His kingdom.
