These words speak to me as I write for the Glory of God. I need not be ashamed of the righteous works God has performed in my life, but rather to glorify His name.
God has performed miracles in my life that a non-believer of God should read about. Five years ago as I lay near death in a hospital room God came to me in the middle of the night and told me not to be afraid. Before that night, I was always shy about professing my belief in God in front of the people around me.
Miracles upon miracles have happened since that night, and I live to write about each and every one. In the six years since a brain tumor and stage four colon cancer came to claim my life, God has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that He exists, and even more importantly, He loves me.
God loves me! After a lifetime of searching for love, I found it when death knocked at my door, and God opened it for me. God had work for me to do on His behalf. I started writing four years ago about God's love and grace, and I haven't stopped since. He tells me to reach out to everyone with the good news of His Son and never, ever, to be ashamed of His truth.
Dear Father in Heaven. My life is in Your hands, and You instill me with Your light as I shine it for everyone to bask in its glow. My work comes from Your directions, and may it be used as a healing tool for anyone who suffers without the knowledge of Your love. Amen
