"Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord's work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58, HSCB)
God created humans to worship Him, and our body stands as a holy sanctuary of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). As the living word of the Lord says, we belong to God and not to ourselves as we were bought at a price, and so our duty is to glorify God in our body (1 Corinthians 6:20). A reasonable service that we can provide for God's kingdom is by presenting ourselves as living sacrifices and being holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). We are heirs of God and co-heirs of Christ (Romans 8:17), and so it is our responsibility to spread His kingdom, through His Word, and be the ministers of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:12-16).
When we submit ourselves to be stewards of Christ, then it is His anointing that teaches us (1 John 2:27) the right way to follow. As stewards of Christ, our duty is to work in accordance to the prophetic word, through the knowledge of our God and savior Jesus Christ. Order and instruction (Isaiah 28:26), advice and wisdom comes from the LORD of Hosts (Isaiah 28:29) as we step forward for the accomplishment of His task. We receive power through the Holy Spirit to be His witness (Acts 1:8); we receive from God to give (2 Corinthians 1:4).
Allow Him to use us to glorify His precious name so that our faith may be alive and visible in our works (James 2:24) when He comes again. Ablaze the gift of God that is in you (2 Timothy 1:6) for He has not given you a spirit of fearfulness but one of power, love and sound judgment (2 Timothy 1:7). Amen.
