Ever feel you're not good enough for God? I must admit, sometimes I do. Every so often, the devil will tell me I have sinned so much in my life that not even my Holy Father will forgive me. I think of the day of the Rapture, when Jesus will return. Will He take me with Him or leave me behind?
I know the answer, yet still I sometimes wonder. How could anyone forgive my years of a wasted life? How could anyone forgive my sins against myself and God?
Matthew 11:28 tells me how. I take the yoke of Christ and learn from Him. It all sounds too simple to be true, but Jesus Christ is the only truth I have ever known in my life. I was so full of lies from Satan. He filled my mind and heart with deception from an early age. I was unlovable, unworthy, and there was no hope for me. Those words are lies.
Tonight I pray once again for the redemption of my sins, just as I do every night. I am heavy laden, but His yoke is light as once again I acknowledge the truth. I am lovable, and Christ is my rest. My sins are forgiven, from the day of my birth until that final day when Jesus comes once again. He WILL take me with Him.
