“For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required;” Luke 12:48 NKJV
I believe God spoke to me through her, reminding me how He has given me much, and what I am to do. Because she is a gift from God to me, He requires MUCH of me from this gift. She’s my “much.” It is not as if I feel obligated, because God “says so.” I’m crazy about her. I’m compelled, through the love God basks over me, to do much for this blue-eyed, freckled face redhead (yes, she’s a cutie!). Therefore, I give and surrender my all to Jesus to guide me through the Bible on how to teach her diligently toward His love. It’s not easy. I’m all flesh -- I want things my way. It’s one of the many reasons why I need a Savior. I want the best for my “much.”
I have many other “much-es.” My husband, my other two children, my church, my health, our money, a forever and ever relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I want to give much with so much! How can I handle this MUCH without the guidance of Jesus?
