As children of God, we all are blessed with fullness of life. There must be some of us who are in need of resources, and there must be some who have things in plenty. But God showers his blessings on each one of us impartially.
No matter what the situation, God’s assurance is always with you, protecting you from every tactic of the devil. Satan wants you to be sad and unhappy regarding your life and the tough times that you are going through. He wants you to curse God, feel bad about yourself, and sulk. God wants you to boldly come near, especially in your time of need. If you believe that all things work for the good of those who love the Lord, you will see the blessing of trials as you come to an even closer relationship with Him.
Be still in the Lord, follow His plans. They will never be for your harm. Even during times of distress, you will be able to feel His powerful presence in your life and circumstances. To laugh in the midst of trials, because you know God’s presence is there in your life, is a very big blessing.
‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 4:6-7). May the Lord’s peace, be your armor against all the anxieties.
Lord, I place all my worries in your hands today. Fill me with your powerful peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.
