We all face the tactics of the devil, on a daily basis, to keep us from the works of the Lord. We might find our day starting happily, when suddenly we hear some negative comment that makes us angry and spoils the rest of our day. We might find ourselves being part of a negative situations created by others. All this can be a usual part of life for believers. All those who believe in the Lord and live their lives His way could find the devil trying to snatch their peace and worth, which they have received as a promise from the Lord. In all this, God gives us another promise: we all are 'more than conquers' in Him. Satan has no power over us as long as we put our fight in the Lord's hand. When we give our battle to God, trusting in Him for every provision or negativity that bothers us, then we would continue to live in the peace that He has given us by His grace. Do not let anything steal what God has given you; his love, peace, joy and the power of victory over all negativities that come your way. The extent of security that we have in our Lord cannot be measured.
Our security and worth is in the finished work of Christ where he fixed all things for us at the cross. We just have to believe, be still in Him, and receive.
Prayer: Lord, I trust in you for every situation in my life. Amen.
