God's Will is the Answer - Lynn Gipson
Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning from ancient times, what is still to come I say, "My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please." Isaiah 46:9-10 (NIV)
So many times in the past I've prayed for things, only to wonder why God didn't answer. I would go to God and ask for what I think would remedy the situation, and it just wouldn't happen. Why? Because for every situation, only God has the answer, not me.
It took me a long time during my fledgling days of Christianity to realize that God is God, and His will for my life is the answer, always, the answer. For every dire circumstance in my life, He alone has allowed me a solution. He decides the end for every beginning.
Dear Lord, thank You for Your Will. I am so thankful that You are God, and there is no other. I am so grateful You don't answer my prayers according to my will, but Yours alone. You alone know what is best for me, and whatever is to come in my life will stand, according to Your purpose. I am merely the clay, and You are the Potter, Make my life what You will.
