Known through Grace By Robert Schaetzle "For how then will it be known that your people and I have found grace in your sight, except you go with us." (Exodus 33:16 NKJV)
Moses was seeking the very presence of God as he led the people of Israel through the wilderness.
God’s holiness abides within us, once we come to accept His invitation to reside within [Revelation 3:20]. With this, we have the power of His presence, the Comforter, to make known His understanding of grace through faith.
Being known by God is to recognize that He created us on purpose for His purpose, to be used throughout the seasons of our life. We have such a rich inheritance to grow into, through His grace, expanding our borders of knowing Him through His infallible word, in an intimate relationship.
When we surrender our heart, having "put on Christ," the radiance of his presence cannot but reflect more of His love in us that we may give others. Grace and hope for living with promise beyond measure is being known by God to lead others, as God assigned Moses to lead Israel .
God goes before us today as He did the twelve tribes of old, but more than a cloud by day or a flame by night, this new-found grace we have will increase the more we exercise our Spiritual heart. Learning to lean on him more and less on human reasoning is beginning spiritual maturity. "Not to think more highly of ourselves as we ought but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith God has assigned to us." (Romans 12:3 RSV) Robert lives in Sunnyvale, CA serving in a Sharing and Caring Ministry. Contact |
