‘Toy Story” by Judy
Belshe-Toernblom
Luke 5:41: And whoever compels you to go one
mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who
wants to borrow from you do not turn away.
Infinity is supposed to be the beginning of
the never ending END. However, Buzz wanted to go to Infinity and BEYOND! He
wasn’t convinced that infinity was the end. Now THAT is going the extra mile. Infinity is supposed to be the beginning of
the never ending END. However, Buzz wanted to go to Infinity and BEYOND! He
wasn’t convinced that infinity was the end. Now THAT is going the extra mile. Who
can forget the words of Buzz Lightyear? “To infinity and beyond!” Infinity is supposed to be the beginning of
the never ending END. However, Buzz wanted to go to Infinity and BEYOND! He
wasn’t convinced that infinity was the end. Now THAT is going the extra mile.
Successful
people think the same way. They see endings as beginnings. They see problems as
challenges. They see hard work with the coming rewards. And when you look at
their lives, you’ll see that they are always giving back physically and
financially. While the rest are holding on for dear life to what little we
have. Let it go!
Many
a pastor has said that they never saw a U-Haul behind a hearst. You can’t take
it with you, but you can change lives with what you have in the here and now.
Young
children often say, “MINE, MINE, MINE!” Are you still living in that realm of
thinking? Life is not really ours you know, it’s lent to us for a time by
THE GIVER of life. Don’t put your trust in the gift. Put your trust in
the GIVER.
John
Gardner said, "When people are serving, life is no longer
meaningless." You're not called to 'get by,' you're called to go to
“Infinity and beyond!”
