If you have made Jesus your Lord and Savior, believing the gospel message, are you now sure, absolutely for certain, you are going to heaven? If not, you should be.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. Eph 2:8a ESV

If you doubt, you have fallen prey to the purveyor of doubt, not looking at Jesus perfection, you are still looking at your sinful flesh. This is called walking by sight instead of faith. Doubt is our enemy’s biggest weapon. It is really all he has to work with because God’s way of salvation is so clear.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 ESV

If you look at your flesh and your faults as the enemy wants, you are going to struggle and doubt. Repeatedly looking at yourself in this way with the hope of being good enough to enter heaven, will never bring you the assurance, peace and power God wants you to have. However, if you walk by faith, fixing your eyes on the Author and Perfector of your faith (Jesus, Heb 12:2), you will be kept in perfect peace assured of God’s promises.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isa 26:3 ESV

Isn’t it about time that you made a firm decision to get out of the boat and leave all doubt behind, trusting Jesus all out? Do you really have another option?

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Rom 10:10 ESV

Stop doubting God’s promises for us who believe and stop spreading doubt to others.

And have mercy on those who doubt; Jude 1:22 ESV

Instead, strongly encourage and buildup the faith (Eph 4:29) you see in others and your faith will be encouraged also.

Just do it, “…Stop doubting and believe…” Jesus in John 20:27b.
