Adventurer Friend,
On our way back from Tahoe, I sat next to a lady that had just been to Burning Man, as were many others on our flight. She and I chatted about her experience. She had been before. Her husband went earlier than she did and set up their camp. She was only there for a few days. She was telling us about all the creative camps and adventures going on. Bo and I were intrigued with the whole concept of Burning Man. We had our judgments about it over the years as we heard about it but listening to someone who actually participated was a great shift in our thoughts. It seemed quite inspirational, and amazingly creative. She kept encouraging us to go next year. It’s in our minds now as a possibility instead of thinking it was just some groups of hippy, naked people running around. 80,000 people. What a vision the directors had!
Where in your life are you judging something that seems different from you, yet you don’t know anything about it except what you’ve heard passing?
