Subject: It’s All in Your Head

Weekly Broadcast to Live Healthy, Vibrant and Fulfilled
Amazing Friend,

Watch out for what you ask for because you might just get it.

On this journey of creating my online business, each step opens new opportunities. The greatest of these has been realizing how passionate I am about helping create new models of aging and retirement.

I don’t want to feel useless and old because that’s not how I see my world.

And, I don’t want the 46 million 65+ to feel that either.

In the process of creating my e-course, Thriving in unRetirement, I have some content I want to share. I want to get my message out to Boomers and Retirees. I want them to know this chapter of life can offer great possibilities for them.

I had no clue how to go about sharing my message but I am learning new tools. I’m learning about the social media channels to get noticed and be visible - Facebook & Facebook Live, Periscope, and Twitter.

I got what I asked for.

All which seemed impossible for me. I’m still hesitant and anxious. I have to be careful to watch my words because I can feel overwhelmed, or is that bless with opportunities to learn new things? I have to stay in the possibility rather than the fear. It’s constant work for me at this point, until it becomes second nature. No longer impossible.

I’m over the moon excited about changing how people see this time of their life. I am willing to keep moving, and keep pulling myself back up as I slip in the black hole of uncertainty.

It’s worth the challenge.

Committed to Thriving,

“The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination.” Tommy Lasorda

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, 'I'm possible’!” Audrey Hepburn

INSIGHTS TO THRIVING IN UNRETIREMENT
Watch Your Language
What Are You Telling Yourself That is Impossible?

Language is powerful.

As Demond Tutu said, “Language does not just describe reality. Language creates the reality it describes.”

It is one of the reasons I created my tagline for Thriving in unRetirement as “living healthy, vibrant and fulfilled.”

I know you create your own reality.

As Eric Kim, research fellow, at Harvard’s T. H. Chan School of Public Health showed, “Positive thinking and physical health are linked.” Read More
