Champagne!
Canard Duchene Authentic Brut Champagne $38

Authentic Brut epitomizes the house style where freshness and intensity bring together nobility and nature. Its secret lies in the unique combination of its location in the Montagne de Reims, the subtle blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and careful aging in the long galleries of the underground cellars in Ludes. Fresh fruit aromas with brioche notes, the sign of good aging, Authentic Brut is a light-hearted Champagne, perfect for every occasion. WHAAA? is that the price? Yes!
Whites!
2013 Moissenet-Bonnard Bourgogne Blanc Les Chazots $25

Moissenet-Bonnard’s vineyards are some of the finest in the appellation and his wines are highly and consistently praised in the French press. One sip of this and you will be a hero to all the Chardonnay drinkers in your family!

2014 Barry Family Cellars Tuller Vineyard Riesling $21

New York. This wine originates from Riesling grapes grown by John Tuller in what he calls the “sweet spot”, located halfway up the west side of Seneca Lake. Careful hand-sorting both before and after harvest gave us only the cleanest grapes to work with. Whole cluster pressed and finished off-dry. Citrus, pear and slate notes on the palate.

2014 Weingut Diwald Fruhroter Veltliner Diebsnest $18

Austria. A natural crossing between Roter Veltliner and Silvaner. Fruhroter Veltliner wines are slightly herbaceous with some light lemony characters and a note of almonds.

2014 Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc Bradgate $14

South Africa. Gary and Kathy Jordan have been making world-class wines on a farm with a history going back over 300 years. Rich, tropical pear flavours of Chenin Blanc complement the green fig and red pepper freshness of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is balanced by a crisp, elegant finish.

2014 Broc Cellars Valdiguie Solano County $28

They call it Californai Gamay. But it is so much more. Fresh, natural, perfumed black cherry and plum nose. Elegant and expressive. We are big fans of Chris Brockway’s energetic wines and at only 12% alcohol we are happy to drink this down with the week night’s chicken and rice dish!
Reds!
2013 Le Vigne di Eli Etna Rosso $24

Sicily. Approximately 50 year old vines of 98% Nerello Mascalese & 2% Nerello Cappuccio. From Volcanic soil and vineyards on the northern slope of Mount Etna, this is like a Sicilian Burgundy! Beautiful ruby red color with huge perfumes and elegant, fresh red fruit that is full in the mouth with lovely mineral notes.
Best served cellar temperature!

2012 Domaine de Champal Crozes Hermitages Chaubayou $26

Our Northern Rhone Syrah has a beautiful earthy nose full of black fruit, flowers, pepper, and characteristic barnyard aromas and perfectly complements a seasonal stew or roast!

2012 Cristom Mt Jefferson Pinot Noir $32

Fabulous Pinot from Oregon. On the nose it is showing cola berry, oolong tea and wild berry aromas. It has the 'signature' Mt. Jefferson liveliness on the palate with bright, juicy red cherry flavors that echo on the finish. There are more complex flavors of earth and spice evident on the palate.

2009 Prunotto Barolo $55

This is the one wine to splurge on, for your winter Risottos a Barolo is a must and at this price you can’t argue! Garnet red in color with ample and complex aromas of violets and berry fruit, full and velvety in flavor and very balanced. Its structure and body make it an ideal match for meat and game dishes and for cheese.

Wild Cards!
Emilio Lustau Manzanilla Sherry Papirusa $18

A bone dry Manzanilla from the town of Sanlucar de Barrameda, light and fresh, very tangy, clean and crisp with just a hint of saltiness. “Dry, delicate Spanish manzanilla and fino sherries are peerless aperitifs. Lustau’s slightly salty manzanilla and nutty Jarana fino are beguiling examples.
Sip them with tapas, anchovies, Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, picholine olives and artichoke hearts."

2013 Saetti Lambrusco Frizzante Salamino di Santa Croce $20

Deep red/purple in color. Frizzante. Intense aromas of red berries, clay and minerals. Bright and crackling on the palate with a crisp, dry finish.
