The 100-year-old parcel in Les Serreudières reaches deep into the Cornins' multi-generational roots in Mâcon. In the same manner that these old vines labor to yield the fruit, Dominique subtly guides the wine from vine to bottle with little intervention. The Cornins use the same biodynamic farming methods as Domaine Leroy, Leflaive and Zind-Humbrecht, and the wine is fermented in stainless-steel tanks, and aged in used oak barrels. The wines is voluptuous, rich and succulent, with a distinctively fresh and ethereal quality. |
