blend of sweet melon, white cherries, violets, smoke and freshly sliced
vanilla bean pulls you close as the 2020 Rosato blossoms in the glass.
This seduces with its silken textures; then a whiplash of vibrant
acidity pulls you back to earth, while citrus-tinged fruits and salty
mineral tones add further depth. There’s a richness here that’s
unexpected from a Rosé, yet it’s balanced out quite nicely as this
tapers off long to hints of strawberries and spice. Tavignano knocked it
out of the park with this blend of 80% Lacrima and 20% Sangiovese.”
