Aged in new American oak, Millet is a prized grain in Asia and Africa and Nepal. Been used in beer and whiskey making for centuries, being known as the fourth grain in some circles of whiskey manufacturing. Though this is the first whiskey to be made out of millet. Only the “heart cut” of the distillate, no “heads” or “tails.” Grains sourced from a local organic farmer collective in the Midwest. Unfiltered 100% Millet. Heart Cut. Single Barrel. Organic, naturally gluten-free and Kosher. Nose of vanilla, smoke and star anise to a licorice. tastes of caramel, all spice, millet grain (not the same as rye or corn) and slightly sweet.
