A Throwback to the Legendary 1985 Vintage in Burgundy?!!
Dujac winemaker Jeremy Seysses remarked “It might be controversial, but I feel the 2021 has some eighties feel to it, with more concentration. In terms of mouthfeel and volume, it feels like 1985 to me.” Normally just two barrels are produced annually, however, Seysses said that in 2021 Dujac’s yields were 30% to 75% down so this already rare wine will be even more hard to come by with this vintage. If you ever want to pamper yourself now is the time!
