2014 Catherine & Pierre Breton Bourgueil Cuvee Trinch

$156 6pack
The Breton’s are international icons for their passion and integrity that results in great wines. “Trinch” is named after a German expression meaning “cheers” championed by the poet and philosopher Rabelais. It is a Cabernet Franc from younger vines vinified in stainless steel with a cold maceration. It is made for early consumption and typically has very accessible fruit, soft tannins and low alcohol. Bottled in the Spring after harvest. Kermit Lynch is calling it the best vintage in a decade — we won’t argue that!

2012 Domaine de la Noblaie Chinon Rouge Les Chiens-Chiens

$144 6pack
Winemaker Jerome Billard has worked at both Chateau Petrus and Dominus and brings his worldly skills to one of the oldest and most magical family estates in the Chinon appellation. This single block site is 40-80 year old Cabernet Franc vines. The wine is aged 12 months in 2- and 3-year old barrels. It is a lovely, perfumed Chinon with tremendous length in the mouth.
