Subject: Good value, ready to drink Bordeaux!

Happy to Offer

2010 Chateau Gigault Cuvee Viva $240 case

93 Points James Suckling

"Ripe nose with blueberries and wild strawberry. Sweet spice and some licorice. Wonderful sweet fruit on the palate with a smooth texture and soft fine tannins. Full-bodied and super round with great pure fruit and depth."

2010 Chateau Lanessan $312 case

92 Points James Suckling

"Aromas of currants, plums, and minerals follow through full body, with chewy tannins and a chewy finish. Needs time to soften. Serious depth to this wine. Better in 2015."

2004 Chateau La Vieille Cure $348 case

90 Points Robert Parker

“As was the 2003, this is another big time sleeper of the vintage. The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2004 offers a sweet perfume of framboise, black cherry liqueur, cedar, and spice. Supple-textured, medium to full-bodied, expansive, and savory with superb purity and texture, it can be drunk now and over the next 10-12 years. This property has been on a qualitative roll and still remains one of Bordeaux’s finest values.”

2010 Chateau Rollan de By $336 case

92 Points James Suckling

"Beautiful note with lots of fruit like blackberries, crushed raspberries and some dark plum. Full and wonderfully velvety on the palate with ripe tannins and a sweet pure dark fruit. Already drinks very well, but a few years patience will be rewarded. Best ever?"

90 Points Robert Parker

"Consistently better than its humble appellation, this excellent wine from proprietor Jean Guyon offers up plenty of black currant fruit intermixed with cedar wood, licorice and incense in a medium to full-bodied, surprisingly concentrated and expansive style that should drink nicely for a minimum of a decade or more. There’s no need for patience with this sleeper of the vintage, given the sweetness of its tannins, attractive glycerin and fruit levels.”

2010 L’Esprit de Chevalier (Domaine de Chevalier) 375ml
$240 case of 12/375ml

91 Points Wine Spectator

"
Rock solid, with a winey, saturated core of plum skin, blackberry compote and steeped raspberry fruit. The long finish lets roasted mesquite, black tea and singed vanilla bean notes weave in, offering a solid iron note on the finish. Shows excellent range and character for a second wine. Best from 2014 through 2024."
