Happy to Offer New Releases Chateau Rayas, Very Limited!
2011 Chateau Rayas
La Pialade
Cotes du Rhone

$65 bottle

80% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 5% Syrah

According to Robert Parker
“This is one of the mythical names of France… In addition to numerous cuvées of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Rayas produces top-notch Côtes de Rhônes from its sister estate, Fonsalette.

La Pialade is a second label in the traditional sense in that the fruit comes mainly from the Fonsalette estate, though a bit of Rayas estate fruit can find its way into the blend in some years. Usually cames from younger vines.

2006 Chateau Rayas
Châteauneuf-du-Pape

$495 bottle

100% Grenache

94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar “Medium red. Vibrant strawberry, raspberry, anise and floral aromas could fill a room. Juicy and sharply delineated, offering sweet red berry and cherry preserve flavors with compelling accents of licorice, sassafras, lavender and smoky minerals. Extremely elegant wine with outstanding finishing cut and persistence. Not many grand cru Burgundies could match this for finesse.”

Jancis Robinson “Truly majestic concentration. Sweet, rich and spicy. Amazingly dense and youthful. Dry with lots of tannin on the finish. Put this away for ages. (18++/20 Score)”
