Domaine Chanson is one of the great historic producers in Burgundy. Founded in 1750, they are 1 of only 6 producers in the region still remaining from the 18th century and earlier. Most critical to today, Chanson was purchased in 1999 and has been dramatically restored to once again become one of Burgundy’s top estates.
Chanson’s wines are defined by lifted and exotic aromas, a supple texture, and rich, dense fruit without heaviness. Chanson is notably obsessed with maintaining top quality across its entire range. |

WHITES
2021 Domaine Chanson Savigny-Les-Beaune Blanc Hauts Marconnets Premier Cru $420 6pack
White wines are very unusual in Savigny-les-Beaune, the vineyards producing essentially red wines. The particular nature of the soil "Hauts Marconnets" with Marl, chalk and limestone encouraged Chanson to plant Chardonnay. The vineyard is ideally situated high up on the hill of Savigny-les-Beaune, facing south-east, close to the hills of Beaune 1er Crus.
Bright gold colour. Fragrances of acacia and hawthorn mixed with aromas of citrus fruit and pale fleshed fruit on a smoky note. Well-balanced and precise. Generous and dense texture. Long finish with hints of almond and vanilla.

2021 Domaine Chanson Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc Premier Cru $1050 6pack
Chanson is one of the major owners of Clos des Mouches. A sunny Terroir which benefits from an ideal location on the hill at the southern end of the vineyards of Beaune on a spur pointing toward Pommard.
Pale gold colour. Floral fragrances (acacia) mixed with citrus fruit aromas and green almond on a hint of spice. Well-balanced with a good tension. Precise and deep texture. Long and generous aftertaste with a hint of minerality.
2021 Domaine Chanson Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Chenevottes $990 6pack
Chanson’s 2 hectare plot is located next door to the famous terroir “Le Montrachet.” The soil most consists of clay and limestone with the famous stone of Chassagne and is clearly mineral. The vineyards have a peculiar aspect; they are made up of small blocks entangled into each other. With its east exposure, on the road to Saint Aubin, this plot benefits from the fresh air which gives the wine very pure and refreshing aromas.

2021 Domaine Chanson Savigny-Dominode Premier Cru $480 6pack
The Premier Cru of Dominode is the best Premier Cru of Savigny. It’s mid-slope with great clay and limestone soil.
Dark ruby color. Intense aromas of blueberries and elderberries. Well-structured and dense. The tannins are quite present and give an idea of the excellent aging capability of this wine. Long finish.
2021 Domaine Chanson Beaune Clos du Roi Premier Cru $480 6pack
The vineyard of “Clos du Roi” is located below “Les Marconnets” on a fold in the hill. Chanson owns approximately 35% of the total vineyard area.
The plot is low on the slope and known to produce elegant, stylish wines for relatively easy drinking.
