92 Points Vinous “Clearly, this is more penetrating and has stronger, more intense flavors than the Riesling Réserve.”
92 Points Wine Advocate “The wine opens with a generous but precise and elegant nose of white, ripe fruits. Deep and complex on the mineral-structured palate, this is a highly expressive, very elegant, dense and balanced Riesling with a long, pretty intense and aromatic finish and a lingering salinity. This is a remarkably good and intense Riesling on 1er cru level.”
The Trimbach’s have a purist vision. For three centuries and across 13 generations, the family has produced wines that are structured, longlived, fruity, elegant and balanced: the celebrated Trimbach style. The vineyards were planted on the Ribeauville’s fault line that fractured 50 million years ago between the Vosges Mountain range and the Black Forest offering a mosaic of terroirs including the complex calcareous limestone and bio-degraded seashell fossils called “Muschelkalk”.
