Jean-Christophe Pellerin is the fourth generation of a Bugey winemaking family.
The Bugey, halfway between Lyons and Geneva, is one of the tiniest and most obscure wine areas in France.
The vineyards are surrounded by forests, lakes, and mountains, providing a unique terroir that is extremely biodiverse - with bees, butterflies, and birds playing a vital role. There are two types of soils, clay-limestone scree on the hill plots southwest and moraine gravel on the lower elevation parts of the hillsides.
Beautiful delicate bubbles, sophisticated and exemplary Champagne method at a fraction of the price.
