We had a wonderful surprise visit today from Domaine de l'Olivette !
This is a small, centuries-old farm in the heart of the Bandol zone in Provence. Low-yielding Mourvedre is carefully cultivated to ensure full ripeness, and hand harvested fruit is gently fermented and aged for at least 18 months in large casks. The Dumoutier family believes in sustainable methods and belongs to the Vignerons Independants de France. The 2009 Red is just yummy now! |
